Author Biography
Lisa Dickson is Associate Professor of English at the University of Northern British Columbia. Her primary research concerns performance on stage and in film, with a focus on the politics and aesthetics of represented violence, and particularly the intersection of violence and beauty. She is currently working on a book-length study of these issues in the context of Shakespearean drama.
