Emily F. Winerock (firstname.lastname@example.org) is a PhD candidate in History at the University of Toronto. Her publications include ‘“Performing” Gender and Status on the Dance Floor in Early Modern England’ in Worth and Repute: Valuing Gender in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe (Essays in Honour of Barbara Todd), edited by Kim Kippen and Lori Woods (2011) and reviews in Dance Chronicle and Early Theatre. She also teaches Renaissance dance workshops and has choreographed for early theatre productions in Canada and the United States.
