Deborah Cartmell is Subject Leader and Principal Lecturer in English Literature at De Montfort University, Leicester. She is co-editor of the Film/Fiction series and has published on Edmund Spenser, Shakespeare and film, and literary adaptations. She is currently working on a book on film adaptations of children's literature.
