Rosamaria Loretelli is professor of English literature at the Federico II University of Naples. In 2010, she co-edited Britain and Italy in the Long Eighteenth Century with Frank O'Gorman, and published L'invenzione del romanzo. Dall'oralità alla lettura silenziosa, which examines narrative forms from the Odyssey to the eighteenth century in relation to changes in reading practices.
