Elizabeth Kraft is a professor of English at the University of Georgia. Her latest book is Women Novelists and the Ethics of Desire (2008). She has recently published articles on Laurence Sterne, Samuel Johnson, and Scottish novelist John Galt. Her current project is a book-length study of Restoration courtship comedies and Hollywood comedies of remarriage.
